Elithia Ramirez Dies In School Shooting, Was She Found After Shooting?

Governor Greg Abbott said Tuesday.

19 students and two adults were killed in a shooting incident at Rob Elementary School in Texas. 

According to Abbott Elithia Ramirez, an 18-year-old who was a Uwald High School student died. 

Furthermore, Abbott also mentions before entering the campus the suspect also shot his grandmother. 

The National Association of School Psychologists pours some advice for parents and teachers to build up the environment in which children are raised.

Dr. Robin Gurwitch, a licensed clinical psychologist and Duke University Medical Center professor overviewed the whole situation and chose to speak up with ABC news. 

“School is a safe and supportive environment for most teenagers, “So when there’s a shooting at a school, it destroys our worldview that I can be in a safe place.” 

After this horrific incident that happened at Marjory Stoneman-Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, in 2018. Many parents are worried and have tried to explain the horrific incident to their children, for their safety. 

Isaias Melendez was the eye-witness to the incident at the Uvald Robe Elementary School in Texas. 

After this incident, the children are also stressed and sacred after the shooting took place and killed 19 students and two adults. 

To prevent comfort and consoling the children Gurwitch, a member of the National Childhood Trauma Stress Network comes forward and advises the parents to help their children overcome this situation gently.

“We wanted to hug them and make them feel safe,” furthermore she added. “But part of being a parent is being willing to discuss difficult issues.”

“It’s wishful thinking to think that our kids don’t know these events are happening,” 

“We live in an age where real-time information on school leavers and responders is available online, which is updated every few minutes.”

“Let them know that their school plans to do everything it can to keep them safe.”
