Eddie Levert Death A Hoax Or Truth?

Eddie Levert, a well-known American singer, best known as The O’Jays’ lead vocalist, is reportedly dead, according to numerous online claims. People are interested in this news and want to know the details to determine whether the statement of Eddie’s passing is accurate or just bogus rumours.

Therefore, based on our investigation and knowledge, Eddie Levert is still alive and well, surrounded by family. All of the rumours online are unfounded and unsupported by any solid evidence.

Edward Willis Levert was born in Bessemer, Alabama, on June 16, 1942, but he spent much of his childhood in Canton, Ohio, where his family moved when he was six. He usually went to church and eventually joined the chorus. Levert continued to sing well into his adolescence and established himself as a recognisable voice in the church choir, school productions, and gospel radio.

Levert and Williams started working on co-writing and producing their songs after the O’Jays obtained a record deal with EMI-Manhattan Records. Their EMI debut album, “Let Me Touch You,” peaked at number three in R&B and featured the song “Lovin’ You,” which soared to the top of the genre that summer.

Levert resides in Las Vegas with his wife Raquel and their daughter Ryan. He has a third cousin that plays in the NBA, Caris LeVert. Gerald and Sean Levert, two of Levert’s kids still in high school, declared in 1984 that they intended to continue their father’s musical career.

They met Marc Gordon while working on four of their seven platinum-certified albums as the band LeVert. “Baby Hold On to Me,” a song that Eddie and his son Gerald recorded in 1992, peaked at No. 1 on the R&B charts and No. 37 on the Pop charts.
