She passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023, shocking her family, friends, and the patient. She was reported as deceased via a Facebook post that reads:
“It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Dr Rana Sabbagh-Haider, a beloved member of the Dearborn community”.
No information is currently known regarding the cause of her death; however, the family may later announce funeral services. Everyone was saddened and shocked when news of Dr Rana’s passing spread, and they instantaneously began paying tribute to her and extending condolences to her via social media.

In addition to being a reputable doctor, Dr Sabbagh-Haider was a person who devoted her life to helping people and having a positive influence on those around her.
Her contributions to the neighbourhood will always be treasured, and her kind nature will be sorely missed.
