The cancer campaigner, blogger, broadcaster, and former teacher, Dame Deborah James, spent six years campaigning for wider awareness of bowel cancer.
Her podcast on BBC’s You, Me and the Big C was given a damehood in May in recognition of her fundraising. She touched the hearts of many with her inspirational story.
The inspirational woman Dame Deborah was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2016.
The family announced her death on her official Instagram page. “We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Dame Deborah James; the most amazing wife, daughter, sister, mummy,”
