Known for her stint on Big Brother Brazil, in 2014, Amanda Gontijo had bad news just one day before Father’s Day. In the early hours of Saturday (13), the ex-BBB confirmed the death of her father in a serious accident.
As confirmed by the redhead, one truck was trying to overtake the other on a road and collided with the one Antonio Soares was driving. With the gentleman leaving the original path, he ended up not resisting.
“ Today I woke up with very sad news: the sky gained one more star. Still can’t believe my sovereign ‘papi’ is gone,” Amanda began, in the caption of an Instagram post.
Then, recalling a photo with her father, the influencer theorized about her father’s painful departure:
“ For several moments he got rid of death (even few know it but in Covid-19 he was intubated and had two respiratory arrests); but this time God or whatever fate took him from us, in a drastic way but in a way I always imagined would be, in an accident and working, two things he loved driving, being on the road and working .”
“ Rest in peace, father. I love you! I’m going to miss you fighting me ”, Amanda finished, saying goodbye to Antonio.
Letícia Santiago, who was in the same edition of BBB, wrote: “ Verified
Amiga, I can’t believe it. My heart is aching here .” Former ex-panicat Aricia Silva also appeared: “ God comfort your heart, my friend, strength ”.
Erika Schneider, ex-Fazenda, went on to lament the fatal news: “ Friend, my feelings. May God comfort your heart at this difficult time! I love you, count on me for everything ”.
