Allen Singleton Death: Obituary, Cause Of Death, Funeral

Allen Singleton, a member of the MCFR who worked as both a firefighter and a paramedic, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. It isn’t revealed what caused his passing.

No information was given about the funeral services. The survivors are his wife and their two kids. On social media, Singleton’s friends, family, and coworkers expressed their condolences and memories of him.

Allen became a full-fledged member of the Marion County Fire Rescue squad on September 12, 2016, after serving as a fireman for the previous six years.

Allen participated in the MCFR Non-Certified Recruit Academy in 2016 before being hired for his present position. As a member of the MCFR/MCSO SWAT Medic team, his most recent duty, he did a commendable job while assigned to Rolling Greens Station #28.

Allen was naturally competitive, as evidenced by his taking first place in both of the MCFR’s Golden Axe tournaments. This demonstrates that Allen was a competitive individual.
Currently, there is an overall state of chaos in the department. The company’s management has contacted Allen’s family, and they are given sympathetic support for any needs that have resulted.

Over the next several days, we ask that you all make an effort to check in with one another and your friends and coworkers. We have asked for this from every one of you. The Florida Fire Chiefs Association has been contacted to utilize their Mental Health Strike Teams; further information will be available soon, as per Marion County Fire Rescue.
