According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, Adam Glass, 33, was the guy who was shot and killed inside a barbershop at North Star Mall on Sunday, June 4.
Authorities claim that Adam Glass was shot in a drive-by on Sunday afternoon and died as a result.
The fatal incident occurred at the North Star Mall on the North Side at San Pedro Avenue and Loop 410 at 3 o’clock. According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, the deadly targeted attack is thought to have involved two gunmen.
Two people entered while Glass was trimming his hair, and one shot him. Around 3 p.m. on Sunday, the San Antonio Police Department responded to reports of an active shooting on Sunday.
Glass was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. Public information officer Nick Soliz said that after the gunshot, the victims fled the scene, and despite investigating the area, police were unable to locate them.
There were no additional casualties from the shooting, and any claims of an active shooter were refuted. Investigators believe that Glass was the target of a targeted attack given the facts of the incident.
When MySA contacted SAPD for an update regarding the incident, they told the investigation was still open.
As a result of the incident, North Star Mall went into lockdown and declared it would be closed for the remainder of the day. On Monday, June 5, the North Star Mall did state that it would be open as usual.
