Abby Fleming, a Myers Park High School student, passed away on September 13, 2023. She died of suicide; the suicide attempt is unknown.
As per resources, Abby Fleming attended Myers Park High School; she was a 10th-grade student and resident of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Her sudden suicide has shocked the community and spurred an investigation into the events leading up to her passing. Law enforcement organizations began investigating a fatal incident, but circumstances regarding her suicide have not been public.
This tragic incident has once again brought attention to the serious mental health problems among young people, especially Teenagers. Abby is the third victim from the same School who committed suicide in the last six months.
Vincent Paul Weed, a sophomore, committed suicide on July 17, 2023, and Barron Harris, a Myers Park High School senior, died of the same reason on April 16, 2023.
Thoughts and Condolences to her family, friends and School community in this difficult time. Abby’s funeral and burial services have not been released.
