But when passing the 5 de Mayo highway, the vehicle was attacked with bullets from the left side.
The driver lost control and hit a retaining wall near a signpost. His 25-year-old wife, the one-year-eight-month-old baby, as well as the interpreter’s 30-year-old brother, were brutally shot to death at that site.
Meanwhile, the four-year-old minor and her nanny only suffered some injuries from the impact of the black truck when it came into contact with the road wall, according to security sources confirmed to Infobae Mexico.
From images filtered in networks, it can be seen that the airbags of the pilot and the copilot were activated. With bullet wounds in the arms, the front part of the body, and bloodied, the bodies of Irving Olivas and his partner were left on their sides and with their eyes open.
He wore a black shirt printed on the front and his partner brown shorts with an orange blouse. Windshield glass and door windows mixed with blood. Preliminary reports reported to this medium indicated that the 2021 model unit had at least 30 bullet holes, including some shots in the windshield on the driver’s side.
The authorities received the report between 11:26 am and immediately went to the vicinity of San Juan de Ocotán. Upon arrival, Zapopan officers found a 40-year-old woman outside the unit, who recounted the attacks without knowing where they came from, but due to her state of shock, she did not offer further details. The nanny was holding the dead baby in her arms, who was hit by gunfire.
The Jalisco prosecutor’s office was informed around 12:00 hours and after 25 minutes, personnel from the agency arrived to collect data and integrate an Investigation Folder.
“Once the first responders arrived, as well as the emergency medical technicians, they confirmed the death of two men, one of legal age and one minor, as well as a woman. Regarding the alleged hitmen, there is still no data or the direction they took after executing Alfredito Olivas’ brother, sister-in-law, and nephew. The motive for the murder is not known either, but the intervention of an organized crime group is presumed.
It should be noted that the attacks against Alfredo Olivas and his family began in 2015 when the singer appeared at a concert in Parral, Chihuahua, where he was also shot. On December 14, 2018, the singer’s father, Alfredo Olivas Valenzuela, was injured by a bullet impact when he was attacked in front of his house.
By December 24, ten days after this first attack, while the wounded man was recovering at the Santa María Chapalita hospital in Zapopan, armed men tried to enter to finish off Alfredito Olivas’s father. The subjects were repelled and died. According to local media, the family altered the scene by lifting the caps that were left from the confrontation.
On December 31 of that same year, alleged rivals of Alfredo Olivas Valenzuela hung a narcomanta on the pedestrian bridge of the El Campanario neighborhood, on López Mateos avenue, at the intersection with Agua Marina in Zapopan.
That narco-message accused that the attacks had been against Olivas Valenzuela, identified as Chapo Alfredo. It was also indicated that the people killed in the hospital were hitmen and were not bodyguards. Presumably, this capo is the chief of a plaza in southern Sonora and was hiding in Zapopan.
On recent March 4, the Guerrero Prosecutor’s Office reported on the murder of Fernando Delgadillo Hermosillo, el Milko and/or Miko, alleged direct operator of Chapo Alfredo and who, in turn, is subordinate to Rafael Caro Quintero, the Narco of Narcos. El Miko was executed in Acapulco by a commando of hitmen near a shopping center in the Diamante area. The woman accompanying the alleged offender was injured.
According to the investigations, the Miko trafficked glass and its headquarters was Ciudad Obregón; in January of this year, this subject was secured a drug laboratory in Cajeme. The bond of a capo with the characteristics of Chapo Alfredo was strengthened then. Presumably, Alfredito Olivas’s father would collaborate with the Narco de Narcos, who heads the Caborca Cartel from Sonora.
Zapopan was disputed against the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel by the Nueva Plaza Cartel , but on March 18, the forces of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes executed Carlos Enrique Sánchez Martínez, el Cholo , leader of this criminal force. Hence, the site of the attack was in the domains of the group of four letters.
