José Alfredo Jiménez Jr Died: What Was His Cause Of Death?

José Alfredo Jiménez Jr , son of the Guanajuato composer of the same name, died this September 29.

The  National Association of Interpreters  ( ANDI ). reported the death of the son of José Alfredo Jiménez through his social networks:

“ The National Association of Interpreters communicates the sensitive death of interpreter partner José Alfredo Jiménez Jr.

So far, the causes of his death have not been released.

Composer and music producer, with a prolific career, his songs won many awards and were performed by great figures of the song.

We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends from the Board of Directors and the ANDI Oversight Committee ”.

José Alfredo Miguel Jiménez Gálvez was born on November 9, 1958. He was 62 years old. Like his father, he was born in Guanajuato.

He studied Electronic Systems Engineering at New York University but the music was his passion, so he became a composer and producer.

His beginnings in the music industry were carried out as a maintenance engineer in the International Music Department of RCA Victor de México.

The Jiménez family reported through a statement that the cause of death was sudden respiratory arrest; the composer died in a hospital in Mexico City where he was admitted due to various ills that complained to him.

He is survived by his wife Verónica Meza García and his sister Paloma.
