Exatlón México: What Is Known About The Fifth Season

The followers of this sporting challenge will once again enjoy the emotion generated by this reality show

On April 14, TV Azteca broadcast a special event where some of the Exatlón contestants were gathered to receive congratulations for their performance during the 38 weeks that the season lasted.

During this event, two personalities addressed some words to the contestants, they were the reality show host, Antonio Rosique, and Benjamín Salinas, vice president of the Board of Grupo Salinas.

Those who led the celebration in which TV Azteca closed the Exatlón season were the faces of La Resolana, that is, Mónica Castañeda and Capi Pérez, who, in the midst of the euphoria, confirmed the fifth season of reality.

Given that Antonio Rosique has hosted this program since the television station opted for the format, it is to be expected that it is the sportscaster himself who will guide the athletes through the different events once again.

Like other TV Azteca programs, and even previous editions of Exatlónthis fifth season could be filmed on the beaches of the Dominican Republic. Regarding the premiere date, it is likely that it will reach the small screen as soon as Survivor México ends since both reality shows occupy the same time slot in the programming.

Officially, the filming start dates for the said season have not been published, nor is there yet a complete list of the athletes who will participate. However, on April 8, David ‘La Bestia’ Juárez told Venga la Alegría that he would be present in the fifth season of Exatlón. An injury to his left hand forced this athlete out of the fourth season of the show.

As with other editions, accounts that leak information on social networks are the order of the day; According to these users who spread spoilers, they would be the names of the athletes that would be part of the fifth season: Mitchell Tanori, Ximena Duggan (who participated in the last edition of Survivor) Keno MartellLino MuñozKenia Lechuga and Ana Lago.

Said leaks also mention that more than half of the athletes would be previous contestants in other editions of Exatlón México.

According to a tweet from Benjamín Salinas, the fourth season of Exatlón had the largest audience within the television programming.

“Today we recognize those who have made @ExatlonMx the best program on Mexican television; Thanks to them, @Azteca closed a historic quarter in audiences, the best in 10 years, thank you and congratulations, “he wrote on his official Twitter account.

All editions of this program have been hosted by sportscaster Antonio Rosique, who has mentioned on several occasions having generated an identity to encourage his contestants. He has been a key part of the realization of this reality.
