Those who led the celebration in which TV Azteca closed the Exatlón season were the faces of La Resolana, that is, Mónica Castañeda and Capi Pérez, who, in the midst of the euphoria, confirmed the fifth season of reality.
Given that Antonio Rosique has hosted this program since the television station opted for the format, it is to be expected that it is the sportscaster himself who will guide the athletes through the different events once again.
Like other TV Azteca programs, and even previous editions of Exatlón, this fifth season could be filmed on the beaches of the Dominican Republic. Regarding the premiere date, it is likely that it will reach the small screen as soon as Survivor México ends since both reality shows occupy the same time slot in the programming.

However, on April 8, David ‘La Bestia’ Juárez told Venga la Alegría that he would be present in the fifth season of Exatlón. An injury to his left hand forced this athlete out of the fourth season of the show.
As with other editions, accounts that leak information on social networks are the order of the day; According to these users who spread spoilers, they would be the names of the athletes that would be part of the fifth season: Mitchell Tanori, Ximena Duggan (who participated in the last edition of Survivor) Keno Martell, Lino Muñoz, Kenia Lechuga and Ana Lago.
Said leaks also mention that more than half of the athletes would be previous contestants in other editions of Exatlón México.
