In a revealing exclusive interview with the Mexican television program HOY, Eduardo Yáñez confessed that he was on the verge of committing suicide in the midst of a severe depression that he suffered at the beginning of the confinement that is being experienced worldwide by the COVID-19 pandemic. The video of Yáñez talking about the subject was removed from YouTube after reaching 19 thousand views on the HOY channel .
The interpreter also stressed that he thought about committing suicide and that it is not the first time that he suffers from depression: “It is not the first time that I have suffered a depression like this, it has happened to me on other occasions, you want it to stop and it is not a depression of sadness. It is a hormonal and neurological depression ”.

In the interview, the Mexican actor revealed what encouraged him not to commit suicide: “My mother is gone and I don’t have a family who comes to cry for me, so the truth is the least important thing to me. But my job, my career, my illusion and my passion… I still have many dreams, so I cannot be a coward and take my life. I rather want to fight even if it hurts. I prefer to fight ”.

Telemundo. In the project, Yáñez plays the character of Mateo Corona.
