Diana Negrete Died At Age 79

Diana Negrete, who preserved the musical and film legacy of the Charro Cantor for decades in Mexico and abroad, was the only blood daughter of Jorge Negrete. She died on Friday, at the age of 79, and her remains were buried this Saturday, the 23rd, in the Charro Cantor mausoleum, in lot one of section 1 of ANDA in the Jardin pantheon, south of Mexico City.

The singer is survived by her children Rafael Jorge, Deborah, Liliana, Diana, and Lorenzo Negrete, as well as her grandchildren.
