Christopher Uckermann Will Not Get Vaccinated Against COVID-19: Why? [VIDEO]

Christopher Uckermann, a former member of the RBD group, joins the list of personalities from the Spanish-speaking entertainment industry who have made it known publicly that they will not be vaccinated against COVID-19.

In a recent meeting with the media at the Mexico City Airport, the singer-songwriter stated that both he and his family will not be vaccinated against the virus that has caused havoc worldwide.

“I don’t believe in the vaccine if I’m honest. I think it may be worse than COVID-19 itself. I am someone who personally does not believe in vaccines, the ones they gave me as a boy because they gave me. Nowadays I believe a lot in the natural, in fact, I support the natural diet ”, confessed Uckermann when asked if he would be vaccinated against COVID-19.

The actor continued to reaffirm his decision: “Definitely I would not be vaccinated, my family thinks the same, nobody is going to be vaccinated.”

The Mexican spoke out against the criticism of people who do not want to be vaccinated against COVID-19: “I believe that everyone has their opinion and we have to respect a lot, we have supported bullying a lot. If anyone doesn’t believe in the vaccine, go ahead. They are their personal decisions, they must be respected… Where is their freedom?

Did Christopher Uckermann get COVID-19?

During his recent meeting with the Mexican press, Christopher Uckermann stated that he could possibly have been infected with COVID-19 in the past. However, no diagnostic test was ever performed to confirm that the health symptoms he was presenting were related to the virus.

“I think it did happen because I had a fever for a week and then I came out that I was immune, so I was fine,” said the interpreter.

Did Christopher Uckermann infect Anahí with COVID-19?

When asked if he infected his partner Anahí with COVID-19 during the RBD reunion show in December 2020, Uckermann mentioned that this is completely false, because he gave immunity results to the virus during the diagnostic tests performed prior to the musical show.

On the other hand, the singer pointed out that Anahí’s positive result for COVID-19 occurred after RBD’s reunion, so it could have been infected “anywhere.”

Currently, both Anahí and her family are fully recovered from their contagion with the virus that occurred at the beginning of January 2021.

Is RBD planning a reunion soon?

Christopher Uckermann assured the media in Mexico that RBD does not plan to meet again soon to make a new musical presentation through a streaming platform in the midst of the confinement experienced by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“For now I can tell you no, I think that in the next two years I don’t think there will be any concerts. For now it was just this reunion, we do not know what may happen later. What happens with virtual shows is that it is not that you can do one every three months ”, reiterated the Mexican singer.

In December 2020, RBD broke a record with the realization of the virtual show “Ser o Parecer” with the special participation of members of the group such as Uckermann, Christian Chávez, Anahí, and Dulce María.
