Zsa Zsa (real name Sari) was born on February 6, 1917, in Budapest (Hungary), into a wealthy family. Her grandmother Francesca Kende was the owner of Diamond House, a major jewelry company. Her parents were military man Vilmos Gabor and model Jolie Tilleman.

She had an older sister named Magda (born 1914) and a younger sister named Eva (born 1919). Her parents, especially her mother Jolie, did everything they could to make their beautiful daughters become stars of the show.
