What is Baby Yoda’s real name? The creature revealed it to Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian 2

Mando’s mission has been accomplished, he has managed to take The Child, even the Jedi. However, there is a problem. The boy, who was kidnapped from a Jedi temple and has spent much of his life alone, has a lot of fear inside.

Madrid, November 27 (Europa Press) .- It has cost many adventures and fights, but finally, Mando and Baby Yoda have managed to meet with Ahsoka Tano, the Jedi Master hidden on the planet Corvus, turned into the last hope of  The Child. And although their encounter has not gone as expected, now Din Djarin has more information about the boy’s past, including his real name.

From now on, the adorable creature will no longer be known as The Child or Baby Yoda, as, thanks to a conversation through the Force, Ahsoka Tano has revealed her past, and her real name: Grogu, a baby adopted by the Jedi who was kidnapped and abandoned until his path crossed that of The Mandalorian.

As Ahsoka Tano explains, Grogu “grew up in a Jedi temple on Coruscant and was trained by many masters over the years. But at the end of the Clone Wars, when the Empire came to power, they hid it. ” Later, “someone took him from the temple, and then his memory goes dark,” adds the Jedi before adding that “he seemed lost and alone”, until he found Mando.

“I have only met one other being like him. A wise Jedi Master named Yoda, ”says Rosario Dawson’s character.

“I CAN’T TRAIN IT”

Mando’s mission has been accomplished, he has managed to lead The Child, or rather Grogu, to the Jedi. However, there is a problem. The boy, who was kidnapped from a Jedi temple and has spent much of his life alone, has a lot of fear inside. A fear that has forced him to hide his powers and that can generate great anger and great hatred in the future.

“I can’t train him,” Ahsoka Tano laments after trying to get Grogu to give him a stone with the Force and realizing the strong bond that binds him to Mando, whom he considers a father figure. “His bond with you makes him vulnerable to his fears. To his anger. I’ve seen what those feelings do to a trained Jedi Knight. To the best of ours. It is better that he lose his skills ”, he sentenced.

This is a direct reference to his former Master, Anakin Skywalker, who, as every fan will know, ended up becoming the fearsome Darth Vader after Palpatine used his fear and anger, attacking his weakest point, the love he felt for Padmé. Amidala Here, Ahsoka shows her own fear of not knowing how to control Grogu, and that he ends up succumbing to the Dark Side.

THE BROKEN PROMISE AND A NEW MISSION

nd yet, Ahsoka promises Mando that she will take over Grogu’s training if he helps her take down The Magistrate. Of course, with a Jedi and a Mandalorian, the Imperial troops don’t last long. However, in the moment of truth, Ahsoka breaks her promise by reaffirming herself in the idea that “she can’t train him”, or rather she doesn’t dare.

In return, he gives the travelers an important clue, a new mission: take Grogu to some ancient ruins of a Jedi temple on the planet Tython, which harbor a powerful connection to the Force, in the hope that one of the masters notice the disturbance and go in search of it. Not an easy task considering that there are very few survivors of Order 66.

The next episode of The Mandalorian premieres Friday, December 4 on Disney +.
