Tommy Dysart Died: What Was His Cause Of Death?

The famous Scottish-Australian film actor Tommy Dysart passed away in the month of June 2022. 

Actor Tommy Dysart passed away peacefully in his sleep. 

According to reports, the Skippy the Bush Kangaroo actor suffered a stroke on the 18th of February, 2002. He was taken to Alfred hospital one of the oldest Melbourne hospitals; where the paramedical staff looked after him. 

The NIDA graduate Thomas Gibson Dysart was born on the 24th of December, 1935 in Maryhill, Glasglow, Scotland. Dysart started his career as a vocalist and performed in many theatres. 

Dysart earned most of his income throughout his initial career. Some of his roles that wowed the audience and won applauses are Skippy the Bush Kangaroo better known as Skippy, Phoenix Five which was first screened on ABC and later on Seven Network, and several roles in an Australian media production company, Crawford Productions

His character in the 1980’s series Prisoner become one of the best of his career. Dysart played Jock Stewart, a vicious, cut-throat, cold prison officer. 

Moreover, Dysart marks his guest appearances in many television drama series, comedies, and feature films. Some of the features films Dysart appeared in are The Man from Snowy River (1982), Bliss (1985), Garbo (1992), and Flynn (1996). He was also the voice behind Captain Griswald in Anthony Lucas and for the film The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello.
