What Was Her Cause Of Death?

The member of the mythical group of the nineties, ‘Girls Aloud’, has died as confirmed by her mother on social networks.

It was last March when Sarah Harding told that she had been diagnosed with very aggressive and terminal breast cancer that, according to her doctors, she did not have much chance of overcoming. It was Sarah herself who said that ” I’m at a stage where I don’t know how many months I have left.”

Sarah was undergoing a mastectomy and also intensive chemotherapy.  She did it in the summer of 2020, the date on which she was diagnosed with cancer. The artist already knew that the tumor had spread to her spine and that it could also be in the brain. Sad news, but unfortunately Sarah is not alone. Many cases decide to take it on in public, and only in Spain do we have, among others, the case of  Mila Ximénez or  Sara Carbonero.  They are different cases, but both are examples of strength for everyone else. The singer had just published  ‘Hear Me Out’,  an autobiographical book, a work in which she opened up about her state of health. From what she said, it was in December that her doctor told him that next Christmas would probably be her last.

Now it has been her mother who has used Sarah’s social networks to communicate that her daughter has passed away.

“It is with deep anguish that I share the news today that my beautiful daughter Sarah sadly passed away. Many of you will know of Sarah’s battle with cancer and that she fought so hard from her diagnosis to her last day. She peacefully escaped this morning. I would like to thank everyone for your kind support over the past year. It meant a lot to Sarah and gave her great strength and comfort to know that she was loved. I know you will not want to be remembered for her fight against this terrible disease She was a shining star and I hope that is how she can be remembered, “she wrote with a beautiful image of the singer.

“I’m trying to live and enjoy every second of my life, no matter how much it may be,” the singer explained in an interview with  Mirror. The artist also said that she was thinking about whether it would help her to undergo radiotherapy treatment but that it would delay the growth of one of her tumors a bit. However, she decided not to do it to enjoy life.

“I don’t want to feel like I have to spend my time in hiding,” she said in the most sincere way possible. “What I would really like to do is see everyone, all my friends, all together. One last time … A way to say thank you and goodbye,” explained the singer.

Personal life

While in Girls Aloud, Harding gained a reputation as “the party girl”. She dated Calum Best throughout 2005 for eight months.

In January 2011, Harding and her partner Tom Crane (with whom they had been together since June 2007) announced their engagement. He proposed on New Year’s Eve 2010 in the Maldives. However, rumors circulated that the couple had called off their engagement, and on September 6, 2011, it was confirmed through their partner. Initially, it was uncertain whether the couple had split permanently as Crane posted “Sarah and I have decided to take a break. I have nothing more to say”.

In October 2011, Harding entered a rehabilitation center in Cape Town, South Africa, after “hitting rock bottom” after her split with Crane, citing alcohol addiction and depression. She said she drank to escape the breakup of her relationship with Crane, later revealing that she also had an addiction to Zopiclone, a sleeping pill. Harding didn’t stop drinking alcohol altogether, but he just didn’t give up. While in rehab, Harding met her boyfriend Theo Van Dries, whom she briefly dated; however, the relationship ended violently after an argument in her hotel room on New Year’s Day 2012.

On April 16, 2013, Harding received a six-month driving ban after police caught her talking on her mobile phone while she was driving through central London. She was also fined £605. Harding had already accumulated nine penalty points on her speeding license before the incident. Her case was heard at Highbury Magistrates Court, where she argued that using public transport would be difficult because of her celebrity status. However, District Judge Nina Tempia rejected the request, telling her, “You’re a normal person. I don’t see any reason not to be disqualified.” Harding currently lives in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. In September 2014, she split from music producer Mark Foster after being in a relationship for nearly two years.

In June 2017, it was reported that Harding had a “six-week affair” with Danny Dyer (who is married) while filming Run for Your Wife.

During Celebrity Big Brother in August 2017, Harding revealed that she had an “outside the house” partner. However, after that, she was already in a month of official relationship with Chad Johnson in September 2017 but the couple ended in November.
