Actor Ray Liotta died at the age of 67  in the Dominican Republic, where he was filming the movie Dangerous Waters, confirmed to the Dominican General Directorate of Cinema. The first information indicates that the actor died in his sleep, although the sources are waiting for the official report on what happened.

His career became known for starring in Martin Scorsese’s classic  One of Us,  in which he played mobster Henry Hill alongside Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci. The movie was a big professional success that opened so many doors for him in Hollywood that he worked almost non-stop.

The actor was born in 1954 in New Jersey and began as an actor in the early 1980s, after several small roles in television series and telefilms, he made his film debut in 1983 in  Lonely Girl.
