The famous fashion designer Peter Hidalgo died at the age of 53. Hidalgo closed his eyes forever on Jan 17 in New York City.
However, everyone is searching for his cause of death. Peter Hidalgo’s cause of death is not disclosed yet, sources publicist Marion Greenberg.
Where was Peter at the time of death?
You will be shocked to hear that he was at the time of death. According to Miguel Adrover, Hidalgo was living in a homeless shelter; he had been surviving with the hope that he would qualify for subsidized housing.
Family and friends have hired a private agency for this spring.
His former employee and a great friend Adrover met him in 1994 at The Sound Factory club. He added it was challenging for us to reach out to him; we all knew that he was not doing okay; IT WAS ALL HARD.
Petter added;
“I would request him all the time, ‘Peter, respect and love, you should move back to Santo Domingo, because you have us and your family.’ Also, you know how tough life in New York is. Especially if you don’t have money, it is really a hard city to survive in. The hardest pill to swallow is that he was not young either. I was devastated.”
Peter also refreshed his memories of how he met Hidalgo. He added, “Peter was in drag. He was this night creature. Peter was really famous for voguing in all of the houses [of ballroom]. He was dressing up and working in clubs as a dancer.”
Achievements:
He was a co-winner, basically a co-winner of the Fashion Group International’s “Rising Star” in 2010. He won this award for women’s wear. Hidalgo worked with some private clients, including the big-name Nicki Minaj. He also gave him his studio.
