The producer and dj Paul Johnson, considered one of the most influential artists in the history of house music, has died of complications derived from covid19. The musician was recently hospitalized in an intensive care unit due to the coronavirus and has now tragically lost his battle against the virus, his agent confirmed to Mixmag.
“Our beloved passed away this morning at 9 am, the house music legend we all know as PJ, aka PAUL JOHNSON, passed away on this day of August 4, 2021. Rest in heaven Paul,” stated the producer’s family through their social networks.
