Little by little, the cast of the Borderlands movie takes shape. It was recently confirmed that actors of the stature of Cate Blanchett and Kevin Hart will be part of the cast of this film. Now, new information indicates that Jamie Lee Curtis will also participate in this production.
According to information from Collider, Jamie Lee Curtis struck a deal to appear in the Borderlands movie. As you surely know, this is a well-known actress who has appeared in films such as Halloween, Knives Out, and Spare Parts.
In Borderlands, Jamie Lee Curtis will be in charge of bringing Tannis to life. We remind you that Blanchet will play Lillith, while Kevin Hart will play Roland.
“Working with the iconic Jaime Lee Curtis has been a dream I’ve had for a long time and I am so excited to bring her humor, warmth, and brilliance to the role of Tannis?” Explained Eli Roth, director of the film.
Who is Tannis?

Dr. Patricia Tannis is an NPC who is a central part of the Borderlands story. This scientist and archaeologist is a specialist in technology, a fact that earned her a position in the Dahl corporation in her mission to find the hidden Vault of Pandora. The terrible living conditions and the death of several colleagues led her to suffer several nervous breakdowns.
Despite Dahl giving up on finding the Vault on Pandora, Tannis became obsessed with the mission. So she kept working on her mission and this is how she gets in touch with the original Vault Hunters.
While her most important role was in Borderlands, Tannis also gives players missions in Borderlands 2 and assists protagonists in Borderlands 3.
