Hubie’s Halloween: What Adam Sandler’s New Netflix Movie Is About

Sandler premieres this film, where he plays a naive Salem resident who watches over the safety of his neighbors on Halloween.

After the millionaire contract between Adam Sandler’s company, ‘Happy Madison Productions’, and Netflix to make exclusive movies and with each released project breaking records on the streaming platform. Now the comedian debuts Hubie’s Halloween. A film, written and starring Sandler, where comedy dresses in terror, which premieres this Wednesday, October 7, 2020.

The film follows Hubie Dubois (Adam Sandler), a bachelor who lives with his mother in Salem and has a brutal obsession with Halloween; which is why he is not taken seriously, an easy prey for several inhabitants of the place, if not almost all, who made scaring him and playing practical jokes their favorite pastime.

It is true that it makes a great and extravagant celebration to which the inhabitants go disguised with great outfits, but the protagonist is the mockery of these and even their family. But this year the celebration will be more terrifying, so you can show that you were the savior they needed.

The cast of this film is made up of comedian Maya Rudolph, as well as others who have worked more than once with Adam Sandler and young stars such as Noah Schnapp, better known as Will Byers from the hit Netflix series: Stranger Things. There are also Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Rob Schneider, June Squibb, Kenan Thompson, Shaquille O’Neal, the great Steve Buscemi, among others.

In this way, Adam mixes suspense, humor and the constant abuse to which his protagonist is subjected, he draws, together with director Steven Brill, the landscape of Hubie’s Halloween. Where Sandler again makes use of his taste for the most unique characters
