Happiest Season , Sony’s new romantic comedy film, starring Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davi s , had its first trailer released. In it, which can be seen below, the two live a secret romance during the holiday season with the family.

In the plot, meeting your girlfriend’s family for the first time can be difficult. Planning to propose to her at her family’s annual dinner – until you realize they didn’t even know she was a lesbian – can be even more difficult. When Abby (Stewart) finds out that Harper (Davis) has kept the relationship a secret from the family, she begins to question the girlfriend she thought she had. Happiest Season is a romantic Christmas comedy that hilariously captures the emotions involved in family acceptance, being true to yourself, and trying not to ruin Christmas.

Directed by  Clea DuVall ,  Happiest Season  also features  Daniel Levy  ( Schitt’s Creek ),  Alison Brie  ( Glow ) and  Aubrey Plaza  (Parks & Recreation).
