The musician was battling lung and bladder cancer.

Doug Supernaw, known for great country music hits as the ‘Reno’ theme, died this Friday morning – November 13th.

The musician had been battling lung and bladder cancer for almost two years.

“Doug was a pillar of country music in the 90s”, recalls his producer, Gold Record, recalling that after a hiatus, which lasted almost 20 years, he hoped to overcome the disease and return to the stage.
