Dawn Wells, who became a megastar playing the sexy Mary Ann in “Gilligan’s Island,” has passed away.
Her representative said Dawn died of COVID on Wednesday.
Of that cast, Tina Louise, who played Ginger on the show, is now the only surviving member.
The show only lasted 3 years, from 1964 to 1967, but it became a cultural phenomenon. The show was about survival and interaction with fun characters, including Professor Roy and the couple, Lovey and Thurston Howell III. (Taken from El Horizonte)
