Caike Luna Died: What Was His Cause Of Death?

Humorist announced in April that he would start treatment for Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

Died this Sunday morning (3), the actor Caike Luna, known by the character Cleiton, from the humorous Zorra Total. The information was confirmed by actress and comedian Katiuscia Canoro, who acted with the artist in the global attraction when she played Lady Kate.

“It is with the greatest sadness in the world that I come to communicate my brother’s departure,” the artist wrote on Instagram, marking the comedian and using an image in which she appears beside him.

Multishow, the channel on which Luna currently worked, lamented the artist’s death with a statement on their social networks. “Sunday dawns sad with the departure of our dear and talented Caike Luna, who, so many times, made the whole country smile. The Multishow family wishes the actor’s friends and family strength. Our feelings.”

Cacau Protásio, Fabiana Karla, Marcos Veras, Júlia Rabello and Ingrid Guimarães are among the celebrities who expressed sadness at the loss in Canoro’s publication and also on social networks. “Honey, I hope he’s okay. So is he. And his family. What a difficult year,” wrote Tatá Werneck.

“It is with the greatest sadness in the world that I come to communicate my brother’s departure,” wrote the actress.

In mid-April, Luna informed fans through Instagram that she would begin treatment for non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. According to the National Cancer Institute (Inca), this type of cancer originates in the cells of the lymphatic system and spreads in an unordered manner throughout the body.

“In a little while I will place a catheter to start a treatment against a non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma that inhabited me while I was deceiving. Real-life. Any message, send me for Jesus, the Christ… I will be sedated… but He, with me and with who believe, never sleep,” said an excerpt from the message posted by the actor at the time.

Luna began her career in Curitiba, where she graduated from the Faculdade de Artes do Paraná. According to G1, after participating in commercials and plays in the capital of Paraná, he moved to Rio de Janeiro, in 2007, starting to act on television.

In addition to Claiton, the actor also worked on the soap opera Rock Story (Globo), living as a gossip presenter. Currently, the artist was part of the cast of comedies at Multishow, such as Xilindró, Baby Rose, and Treme Treme.

The actor has not lost his good humor even during cancer treatment. In May, he published a bald photo and made fun of hair loss from chemotherapy.

Personalities of the artistic class mourned the death of Caike Luna. Lilia Cabral and Marcos Veras said they were saddened by the news. Tatá Werneck published a photo of his friend.

“Very sad for your departure. A huge kiss on your mother. On your great friends. On your family. May God protect and sustain. And have mercy on all of us,” said the presenter of “Lady Night” on Instagram.

“In a little while, I’ll put a catheter to start a treatment for a Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma that inhabited me while I was deceiving. Real life. Any message, send me for Jesus, the Christ… I’ll be sedated… but He, with me and with what he believes, he never sleeps. Then he wakes up to spit that time mooes!”, he wrote.
