Astro Died: What Was His Cause Of Death?

Died Astro, former member of the band UB40. The news was confirmed by the band, who said that the musician died following an illness that had been diagnosed recently.

The Brummie star, whose real name was Terence Wilson, passed away this Saturday, causing great pain among the followers of this group founded in 1978.

Originally named Terence Wilson, Astro was the vocalist and founding member of the reggae band, having been with the band for 30 years.

We are absolutely devastated and heartbroken, ” said the band through a post on the social network Twitter.

The band also says that the world “will never be the same again”.

“The world will never be the same without him. We ask that you respect the privacy of your family at this incredibly difficult time. ”

In August of this year, the saxophonist of the band  Brian Travers had also passed away.

The UB40 emerged in 1978 and quickly became icons with a sound all their own. The songs Red Red Wine and Can’t Help Falling In Love quickly jumped to the tops, remaining current hits.

Originating in Birmingham, the UB40 owe their name to a government policy aimed at unemployment (Unemployment Benefit 40, which stands for Unemployment Benefit). They’ve sold millions of records over the years.

Astro is thus the second founding member of the British band to die this year, after Brian Travers, who passed away in August.

The band’s line-up was the same until January 2008, when Ali Campbell left the band. This year, in June, vocalist Duncan Campbell announced his retirement due to his health conditions, having been replaced by Matt Doyle.
