The Puerto Rican producer of the urban genre, José Ángel Hernández, better known as Flow La Movie, died in a plane crash in the Dominican Republic.

Hernández was one of seven passengers aboard a Helidosa private plane that crashed near the Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo.

The Helidosa Aviation Group airline said on its Twitter account that the HI150 Gulfstream model aircraft with two crew members and seven passengers crashed at the International Airport of the Americas. Helidosa confirmed that 9 people died in the accident.

“Hereby we inform that today, the aircraft with 2 crew members and 7 passengers has crashed at the International Airport of the Americas. Our company is actively working to get more information and collaborating with the rescue bodies. For more information we will be giving details in a direct line “, they indicated in a press release.

Later they added that among the crew there were 6 foreigners and 1 Dominican.

The names of the passengers are: Debbie Von Marie Jiménez García, José Ángel Hernández, Kellyan Hernández Pena, Jayden Hernández, Yeilianys Jeishlimar Meléndez Jiménez, Jassiel Yabdiel Silva and Verónica Estrella.

The aircraft was manned by Luis Alberto Eljiri and Víctor Emilio Herrera.

Telemundo 47 reports that among the deceased were also the producer’s wife and their children.

As indicated, the private plane attempted to make an emergency landing at La Isabela airport in Santo Domingo. When taking off, the pilot communicated the emergency and diverted to the Las Américas airport where he tried to land without success.

Flow La Movie was the manager of Nio García and is responsible for hits like “Te Boté”, Travesuras Remix, La Jeepeta among others.
